Sailing Drysuits | Gill, Zhik & Musto | P&B
Stay completely dry through winter sailing and cold-water conditions with a technical drysuit from P&B. We stock drysuits from leading manufacturers including Gill, Zhik and Musto, each engineered with waterproof seals, breathable fabrics and reinforced high-wear areas. Unlike wetsuits that rely on trapped water for insulation, drysuits keep you entirely dry – layer underneath with thermals to regulate your warmth. Available in men's, women's and junior fittings, our range covers everything from club racing to offshore passages.
A drysuit is the serious sailor's answer to cold-water sailing. Where a wetsuit allows water in and uses your body heat to warm it, a drysuit creates a complete barrier – latex or neoprene seals at the neck and wrists, waterproof zips, and integrated fabric socks work together to keep every drop out.
This matters because drysuits give you control over your insulation. On a mild autumn day, a thin base layer might be enough. Mid-winter racing? Add a thermal undersuit and fleece mid-layer. The suit itself provides no warmth – that's your job – but it protects whatever warmth you create.
Our range spans entry-level suits through to championship-specification drysuits. Gill's Pro and Verso drysuits balance technical performance with value. Zhik brings race-proven technology developed through high-performance campaigns, while Musto's Gore-Tex options deliver premium breathability for extended offshore use.
Construction details matter. Reinforced knees and seats handle the abrasion of hiking and moving around the boat. Articulated sleeves allow full arm movement without restriction. Quality zips – typically YKK Aquaseal or similar – maintain their seal season after season.
Proper care extends drysuit life significantly. Rinse seals after use, store away from UV light, and address any damage promptly. A well-maintained drysuit will serve you through many winters of sailing.
