The range includes the Verso Drysuit and Verso Lite spray tops and trousers, all constructed from XPLORE+® 3-layer fabric – waterproof, breathable and treated with Gill's plant-based XPEL® finish for water and stain resistance. Drysuits feature a rear-entry TIZIP® MasterSeal zip to keep bulk away from the chest, neoprene Dryseal gaskets at neck and wrists, fabric socks, and a grown-on hood that stows out of the way when not needed. Reinforced seat and knee panels add durability where it counts.
The Gill Verso Collection sits at the performance end of Gill's dinghy range. Designed for racing sailors who need reliable waterproof protection without compromising movement, the system includes drysuits, spray tops and trousers built to work together across a range of UK conditions.
At the core of the collection is XPLORE+® 3-layer fabric – Gill's technical construction combining a waterproof membrane with internal and external face fabrics. The result is a shell that blocks water while allowing moisture vapour to escape, reducing the clammy feeling that comes with hard sailing in sealed garments. XPEL® plant-based treatment adds water and stain resistance to the outer layer.
The Verso Drysuit uses a rear-entry design with a heavy-duty TIZIP® MasterSeal waterproof zip. This positions the main entry away from the chest, reducing bulk where it interferes with harness fit and movement. Neoprene Dryseal gaskets at neck and wrists seal against water ingress, while fabric socks provide comfort and durability over repeated use. The grown-on hood features two-way adjustment and stows via a shockcord loop when not needed. Reinforced seat and knee panels protect high-wear areas. Women's versions include a drop seat function for convenience afloat.
Verso Lite spray tops and trousers use the same fabric technology in a lighter format – useful for milder conditions or layering under a full drysuit.
