The 4 mm double-lined neoprene construction provides warmth in cold and wet conditions while retaining the flexibility needed to move comfortably around the boat. Glued and blindstitched construction helps limit water entry, helping young sailors stay warmer during longer sessions on the water.

The lace closure system allows the fit to be adjusted securely, while the wide adjustable ankle strap provides additional support and helps keep the foot firmly in place during active sailing, hiking and other high-load movements.

Underfoot, the Junior Edge 2.0 uses Gill's stiffest outsole, providing additional structure and support for improved stability on deck. The wraparound, non-marking natural rubber sole provides reliable grip on wet surfaces, while moulded textured reinforcement across the bridge improves contact with hiking straps.

The updated rear ankle construction improves flexibility and comfort, allowing the boot to move more naturally with the foot while sailing. Finished in Quarry, a clean light grey, the boot offers a technical look while providing the support young sailors need as they progress on the water.
