Seldén Solo Zeta mast

The Seldén Solo Complete Mast in Zeta section is designed for lighter sailors as a modern alternative to the C Sleeved section. Extruded from Seldén XPS aluminium – a material alloyed specifically for Seldén with higher tensile strength than standard grades – it reduces the risk of permanent bend under load. An 800mm internal sleeve at deck stiffens the lower panel and protects against local loading. Supplied complete and ready to race. A halyard lock can be fitted – contact the team to add on.

The Seldén Solo Zeta is a modern Solo mast section designed specifically for lighter sailors, developed as an updated alternative to the C Sleeved section. The modern profile delivers a greater balance of stiffness, and the custom Solo taper provides relatively similar bend characteristics to the D+ section – allowing a softer section to still support the roach effectively.

An 800mm internal sleeve fitted at deck stiffens the lower panel and protects the section from local loading. Tubes are extruded from Seldén XPS aluminium, a material alloyed specifically for Seldén that delivers higher tensile strength than other grades. Originally developed for the Solo, the higher UTS reduces the risk of the spar taking a permanent bend.
