Tell us what you think - First impression was very good. The sail material felt good, as if it would hold it's shape well. The sail was slightly bigger than my flat cut P&B Maxx sail which concerned me a bit about getting under the boom, however I can still tack!
I wanted a slightly fuller cut sail for the F1-3 winds as I had always felt slightly lacking in power with the flat cut sail in these conditions and this sail certainly delivers. Not yet tried it in F3+ winds.
I wanted a spare 2nd sail and am pleased to have bought this, but if I were only to have the one sail then I think the flat cut would be my choice as an all rounder. However I now can have the best of both worlds and choose the sail according to wind strength. I'm 75kg and no longer a spring chicken!
Really insightful review of our Solo Maxx Sail, thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback, we'll send it up to the sail loft. Happy sailing!
