Purpose-built performance boot for sailors who hike hard and demand maximum connection with the boat. Designed for modern dinghy racing, it combines barefoot feel with high levels of grip and durability to support aggressive hiking and high-load sailing.

A lightweight ribbed 3D knitted stretch sock sits at the core of the design, wrapping the foot for a close, adaptive fit that moves naturally with you. This construction delivers precise deck feedback with a true barefoot feel, while maintaining the structure and stability required for sustained hiking performance.

The ZhikGrip™ II bonded and stitched top panel is engineered to increase friction against deck edges and hiking straps, helping you stay secure and efficient when fully powered up. Underfoot, a durable high-grip sole provides reliable traction and confidence on wet, fast-moving decks.

Zhik has partnered with Michelin to enhance outsole performance. The Michelin outsole with Fibrelite technology incorporates internally laminated fabric within the rubber, significantly improving tear resistance while keeping the sole lightweight and flexible. Cold-cemented construction further improves durability, making the boot ready for season-after-season.

Protection is focused in key wear areas. Stitched toe box reinforcement, a rubber-coated heel panel, and a high-walled outsole work together to resist abrasion and impact without sacrificing feel. Finishing details include a low-profile Velcro® ankle strap with anti-slip channel, a webbing heel loop for easy entry, and integrated drainage ports for fast water release during intense racing.
