Sikaflex® 591 is a high-performance marine adhesive sealant designed for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications on boats and yachts. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, it provides a durable, flexible seal that stands up to the harsh marine environment while maintaining excellent colour stability and mould resistance.
Manufactured using Sika's advanced Silane Terminated Polymer (STP) technology, Sikaflex® 591 cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to create a strong, elastic bond. It adheres to many common marine substrates, including aluminium, painted surfaces, steel, ceramics and certain plastics, often requiring minimal surface preparation.
Suitable for applications both above and below the waterline, Sikaflex® 591 is an excellent choice for sealing deck fittings, hatches, lockers, interior fittings and many general maintenance or repair jobs around your boat. Its solvent-free, isocyanate-free, phthalate-free and PVC-free formulation also makes it a more environmentally conscious option without compromising on performance.
