The Seldén Composite Gooseneck is a lightweight replacement or upgrade bracket compatible with Lambda, Kappa, Zeta, Cumulus, Alto, Epsilon and Gamma section masts. Composite toggle design carries thrust loads on the horizontal pin for reduced stress on the bracket. Stainless steel pin. Supplied complete with rivets.

The Seldén Composite Gooseneck is a precision-engineered mast fitting designed to connect the boom to the mast efficiently and reliably across a wide range of Seldén dinghy sections. Compatible with Lambda, Kappa, Zeta, Cumulus, Alto, Epsilon and Gamma masts, it covers the majority of popular dinghy classes sailing Seldén spars.

The composite toggle design is the key engineering detail here. Rather than allowing thrust loads to stress the bracket itself, the design directs those loads onto the horizontal pin – a more durable and precise way to handle the forces generated by kicker and outhaul loads during racing. The result is a fitting that is both lightweight and better able to withstand the repeated load cycles of competitive sailing.

A stainless steel pin provides long-term corrosion resistance, and the fitting is supplied complete with rivets for straightforward installation. Contact the P&B workshop team if you need advice on fitting or section compatibility.
