P&B Sharpie Mainsail With over 50 years of sail making experience at its disposal the P&B sail loft team have built a reputation for producing some of the best sails on the market. All our sails constructed in the UK and are produced using the latest in design software, materials plus are hand marked round to ensure accuracy and consistence. We can tailor to specific customer requirements. This long establishment has led to frequent World, European and National championships wins in a variety of classes. All our sails are supplied ready to use straight out the bag. Our mainsail design is manufactured in 4.46 oz. Contender Polykote Ripstop has a firm finish and a long competitive life is distinctive by its square weave pattern. The sail incorporates a radial clew and head patches to eliminate distortion, an easily adjusted lens foot featuring a elastic boltrope and friction free nylon clew slider. This makes for easy sail shape adjustment when used in conjunction with an efficient outhaul system. The sail is ultimately more versatile, this being especially noticeable off wind. The Sails come with hydraulically pressed head and clew eyelets,insignia, racing number, glass battens, tell tales and a long sail bag.
