P&B Kestrel Mainsail With over 50 years of sail making experience at its disposal the P&B sail loft team have built a reputation for producing some of the best sails on the market. All our sails constructed in the UK and are produced using the latest in design software, materials plus are hand marked round to ensure accuracy and consistence. We can tailor to specific customer requirements. This long establishment has led to frequent World, European and National championships wins in a variety of classes. All our sails are supplied ready to use straight out the bag. The Kestrel mainsail has a large roach that is liable to cause distortion. To avoid this problem we have very carefully adjusted the panels in the sail to re-align the cloth fibres.Allied with radial clew and head patches we believe that we produce a smoother faster sail. The sail is manufactured in 4.52 oz Contender Polykote, which has a firm finish and a long competitive life. We fit as standard an easily adjusted lens foot featuring an elastic boltrope and friction free nylon clew slider, which makes for easy sail shape adjustment when used in conjunction with an efficient outhaul system. The sail is ultimately more versatile, this being especially noticeable off wind. Sails come with hydraulically pressed head and clew eyelets. The mainsail comes complete with insignia, racing number, glass battens, tell tales and a long sail bag. NOTE: SAIL NUMBERS AND ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE ADDED IN THE CHECK OUT PROCESS.
