P&B Fireball Radial Mainsail With over 50 years of sail making experience at its disposal the P&B sail loft team have built a reputation for producing some of the best sails on the market. All our sails constructed in the UK and are produced using the latest in design software, materials plus are hand marked round to ensure accuracy and consistence. We can tailor to specific customer requirements. This long establishment has led to frequent World, European and National championships wins in a variety of classes. All our sails are supplied ready to use straight out the bag. Constructed in ODL04.5 by Dimension Ideal for all mast sections, this sail constructed as a full radial ensures that the stronger warp fibers are placed in the greatest load area, allowing you to use more kicker and cunningham tension without distorting the sail. As with all Radial designs, this sail is more sensitive to trimming, small adjustments generate bigger changes compared to the Cross-cut sail. The overall shape is more stable and its life longer. It requires more work and attention to mainsheet, cunningham and outhaul to produce the best shape for the different and changing conditions. Our Radial sail is the lightest in our range whilst remaining durable. All the seams are glued using the Ultrabond glue system eliminating the seam creep associated with stitching. We offer two designs: Flat Mainsail designed for light crews using the Selden Alto, or Superspar M2 Optimum crew weight under 84kg Full Mainsail: Our standard sail designed for the Superspar M7 / Cumulus is the perfect all-rounder. All our Fireball sails are built to the highest standard and come with a comprehensive tuning guide and ISAF in house measurement. NOTE: SAIL NUMBERS AND ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE ADDED IN THE CHECK OUT PROCESS
