The 10mm width battens are primarily used for main and jib battens for dinghies and smaller One Design classes.
When fitted with a RBS standard outboard endcap the finished batten length will suit the majority of class rules without the need for cutting. The endcaps when used add 5mm / 0.2” to the overall batten length, with the standard length shown representing the standard batten fitted with the Inner end cap (which comes fitted as standard). It does not include the Outer (optional) end cap.
